While a student at Brigham Young University, Curt Bramble met Susan Mackay. They were married in 1978 and are the parents of six children and have six wonderful grandchildren.
He and his family are actively involved in scouting, hot air ballooning, scuba diving, motorcycle touring, running, backpacking, fishing, and hunting. They also enjoy family time together at Lake Powell.
I have had the honor to serve with Rep. Sandstrom since 2007. We have had the opportunity to work together on many issues and he will be missed in the legislature. Of all of the many accomplishments he's had, none stand out more in my mind than in 2009 when he and Senator John valentine worked on SB 133, a bill concerning the abuse and neglect of disabled children.
It looks like the construction at Timpview High School will move the Utah County Republican Party Convention south to Salem Hills High School. It will still be on Saturday, April 14th.

Utah Technology Council Award
The Utah Technology Council just awarded me as their 2012 Legislator of the Year. I strongly believe in the efforts of the UTC in bringing quality jobs to our community and it has been an honor to work with them on legislation that makes Utah more competitive in today's economy.
I had the chance to meet Luis Fortuño when he came out for the National Governors Association meeting in July. We took he and his wife, Luce, on a hot air balloon ride in Utah County. Governor Fortuño is the first Republican Governor of Puerto Rico since the late 60s.
